ESSAY COMPETITION To be considered, students must submit a 500-word essay in the form of an open letter to our AGM speaker, Mr. Woolsey, on the topic: “Bermuda: Physically Small but Globally Significant”. Essays will be judged on a combination of criteria including content, the ability to support a position or argument, and the use of grammar. The top three winners will be awarded $300, $150, and $75, respectively, with five runner-ups receiving special mention. In addition, all eight students will be invited as special guests to attend a private breakfast with our AGM Speaker, Mr. R. James Woolsey. All submissions should be typed, double-spaced, in 12pt Times New Roman font, and include a cover page with the student’s name, address, e-mail, telephone number, birth date, class, and school attending.
