Business Bermuda presents outstanding management award to Ms. Allison Russell at Annual Bermuda College Awards Presentation

Hamilton, Bermuda, 20 May 2011 – Business Bermuda is pleased to have participated in the annual Bermuda College Awards presentation on the evening of Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Each year, Bermuda College honours graduating students who have stood out amongst their peers. This year’s presentation was held in the Student Centre where students, friends, family, and local members of the business community gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding graduates.
 
Business Bermuda presented the Most Outstanding Management Award to Ms. Allison Russell by Ms. Yelena Packwood, Marketing and Sales Executive of Business Bermuda.
 
Mr. Gerald Begeman, Dean of the Division of Business Administration and Hospitality at Bermuda College stated, “Bermuda College congratulates Ms. Allison Russell on her academic accomplishes throughout her programme of study in Business Administration, and especially to the high standard at which she performed. Many students were worthy; however, there are only a few that rise to the top of their programme. The Awards Ceremony at Bermuda College gives all of us a time to pause, reflect and recognize the superior performance that a number of our students attain. Bermuda College is pleased to partner with Business Bermuda in recognising excellence.”
 
 “Representatives of Business Bermuda travel all around the world and promote the high level excellence that can be found in Bermuda’s workforce. It is because of people like those awarded this evening, that we are able to stand by our word and be proud to represent Bermuda in other jurisdictions,” said Ms. Packwood. She continued, “It is a distinct honour to have the opportunity to recognize students, such as Ms. Russell, who exemplify dedication, commitment, and what it means to be a successful Bermudian.”
